Looking back on 2011: The importance of having field classes

We had a very effective field class last October: we went to a famous restaurant in Tijuca called Buxixo. The students became familiar with food vocabulary and spoke English all the time! This kind of activity is very important for students immersion in the target language. Also, it helps them bond!
I believe that field classes make students more motivated to study English, because it is a different and funny way to learn another language.
