Looking back on 2011: Canadian and American Thanksgiving

Our competence group had a field class in which they celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving on October 10th. We went to Salve Jorge and they learned about the differences between Canadian and American Thanksgiving through a poem and an article. They discussed historical aspects and traditions, such as the food associated with Thanksgiving.
As Teachers’ Day was on 10/15, the students also wrote an e-mail to the teacher telling why they appreciate her and what they enjoy about her classes.Â
