UNS VILA MARIANA - Modern Environments

By the end of September, the Modernist Park, in Vila Mariana, had the UNS Students visit. They got to know one of the most important pieces of Brazilian modern architecture, the Modernist house of Santa Cruz street by Gregori Warchavchik.

Some of the students were able to register the park and the house during the English guided visit!

Field Class at Barrudada Hotel

On July 24th, the Survival-23 students went to Barrudada Hotel to practice their English by using everything they’d learned in the classroom. They had to consider the following criteria: describing the hotel, identifying the parts of the hotel, identifying the furniture, identifying and describing the experience.

SpeedDating(August 19th)

Our rush hour, without a doubt, is 7 p.m. It’s pretty normal to have the reception full of students, teachers, and lots of laugh. We realized then that our students only communicate with their classmates. They don’t even know the names of the students who study next door. With this in mind, we organized sort of a Speed Dating at UNS – Chácara Klabin.

Adrianópolis ajuda Casa Vihda

A UNS Idiomas Adrianópolis buscou ficar na informação para combater o preconceito contra os portadores de HIV. A instituição escolhida foi a Casa Vihda, que presta assistência a crianças com o vírus. Os professores da unidade participaram de palestras sobre o assunto, para poder pedir ajuda aos alunos de forma mais consciente possível. O pedido principal para os alunos foi a doação de leite.
